NOTE: The International Ratings Chart attached works on "external" angels.
New Zealand uses "internal" angels so multi leg ratings 0-45 is 90 Degrees (Factor 2.1)
A 60 degree 2 leg sling example: If the weight of the load to be lifted is 20 tonnes and the angle between the legs of a two-legged sling is 60 degrees. This means that the load factor is 1.7 for the angle.
Based upon this example the 3&4 Leg Load Factor would be 2.6
The Following Must Be Adhered To
* Do not expose to temperatures above 90 or below -40 degrees C
* Do not load in excess of the rated capacity
* Do not drag on the floor or over abrasive surfaces
* Do not twist, shorten, lengthen, or tie in knots
* Do not pull from under loads that are resting on the sling
* Do not repair any damaged sling
* Do not store in chemically active areas, under ultraviolet light or near heat
* Always protect from sharp edges and corners or abrasive surfaces
* Always inspect before each use
